Ole Wenzel Biography
Chief Executive Officer
Ole founded Sens4 in 2017, building on a remarkable 14-year career at MKS Instruments Inc., where he served as Managing Director of MKS Denmark.
Before joining MKS, Ole founded Wenzel Instruments and pioneered the development of MEMS-based thermal conductivity micro-Pirani gauges. After MKS Instruments acquired Wenzel Instruments in 2002, Ole continued to lead and grow the MEMS indirect vacuum gauging product line, which transformed the vacuum industry.
Ole is a co-inventor on several US patents, including US9335231B2, US6672171B2, and US6909975B2, highlighting his contributions to innovation and technology development.
With a background as an electronics technician from the Physics Department of the Technical University of Denmark, Ole combines deep technical expertise with visionary leadership.
As CEO of Sens4 A/S, he remains passionate about driving innovation and developing groundbreaking product concepts.
Ole was born in November 1971.
