Conflict Minerals Policy - Sens4 A/S
Last updated: November 29th.,2024
At Sens4, we are committed to conducting business ethically and responsibly. We recognize our responsibility to respect human rights and contribute to peace and stability in the regions where we operate. As part of this commitment, we have established this Conflict Minerals Policy to ensure our supply chain does not contribute to conflict or human rights abuses.
This policy applies to Sens4 products, operations, and our top-tier suppliers and subcontractors involved in the sourcing, processing, and use of Conflict Minerals.
1. Definition of Conflict Minerals
Conflict Minerals refer to tin, tantalum, tungsten, and gold (commonly known as "3TG"). These minerals are often sourced from regions affected by armed conflict and human rights abuses, particularly the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and adjoining countries.
2. Our Approach
While Sens4 does not directly use or source Conflict Minerals in our manufacturing processes, some components in our products may contain them. To address this, we work with our suppliers to ensure that any minerals used in our products are sourced from responsible and conflict-free smelters and refiners.
3. Our Commitments
- Due Diligence: We will conduct reasonable due diligence on the source and chain of custody of Conflict Minerals in our supply chain, following internationally recognized frameworks such as the OECD Due Diligence Guidance.
- Supplier Collaboration: We expect our suppliers to adhere to this policy’s principles and actively support our efforts to ensure responsible sourcing. Suppliers are required to provide accurate and timely information about the origin and chain of custody of Conflict Minerals in their supply chain and cooperate with our due diligence processes.
Through this policy, Sens4 affirms its dedication to ethical sourcing practices and its commitment to contributing to a conflict-free supply chain.
